Love Joule: the first japanese bar that encourages women to discuss love and sex, opens it’s doors.

Love Joule, located in the Shibuya entertainment district in Japan, opened, according to its Web site, the first “love and sex bar dedicated to women.”

The wall behind the counter is adorned with dozens of colorful sex toys. Megumi Nakagawa, the bar’s proprietor, explains that typically a bar will have bottles of alcohol lining the wall.

Open call for films and artists for GFEST 2012

The deadline is coming up soon for submissions to GFEST – Gaywise FESTival, the premier annual lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) arts festival in London.

The festival accepts submissions until June 29 in three categories:
